Focus on Mr. Enrico Wahl

 
asian traveler magazines Enrico Wahl is the Executive Chef of the Oberoi Bali and Lombok, two award-winning luxury five-star resorts owned and operated by Oberoi Hotels and Resorts Indonesia. The 40-year old German chef studied at Hotel and Restaurant School Dresden and Poppe und Neumann Konstanz Hotel School and trained at Elbterasse Restaurant. He was since worked in luxury hotels around the world, from cities in his native Germany, to London (England), Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Oman, etc.

He is a recipient of many awards and feats everywhere he goes, including stints at 1-Michelin star Cava Restaurant at Elisium (2004) and at a Zagat-awarded best newcomer restaurant in New York (1998). Outside the hotel kitchen, Chef Enrico enjoys scuba diving (he is an advanced open water diver), listening to music, deep-sea fishing, reading, and traveling.
